OpenVMS Boot Camp A Big Push for the Operating System

Last month, the 2010 OpenVMS Boot Camp was held in Nashua, New Hampshire. Sue Skonetski, Bill Pedersen, Michelle Popejoy, Greg Guthman, and Kristi Browder were the principal organizers and Connect Worldwide was the primary Sponsor. Over several days, about 200 people from around the globe participated in approximately 100 sessions. About 25% of attendees were newcomers to the event. Attendees greatly benefited from the re-launch of this long-running technical symposium and were provided technical session content, inter-personal networking opportunities, and access to technical experts both from HP OpenVMS Engineering and the OpenVMS User Community.
